NOFFZ Technologies and Albert & Hummel Automation develop automated assembly and test solutions for fuel cell technologies
The test system and automation specialists NOFFZ Technologies GmbH and Albert & Hummel GmbH are entering into a cross-regional partnership.
A milestone for both companies with a positive impact on our environment: As strong industrialization partners, the technology companies jointly develop, manufacture and market automation and test solutions for the production of fuel cell systems.
Their range of products offers innovative solutions along the entire product development cycle from validation tests in preliminary and concept development to series production.
The North Rhine-Westphalian company NOFFZ Technologies is one of the well-known test and measurement system manufacturers in Germany and is constantly expanding into new locations internationally. Their customizable test solutions for validation, functional and EOL testing as well as their high-performance UTP software are successfully used in the automotive industry, among others.NOFFZ and Albert & Hummel pursue a major common goal: not only to advance fuel cell technology, but above all to establish it on an industrial scale. The new, ultra-modern plant concepts from Albert & Hummel and NOFFZ combine several production steps.
Efficiently coordinated with each other, both the automatic production and assembly as well as the functional test for a wide variety of components – from the individual cell, the stack and the FCCU to the finished fuel cell system – take place in various intelligent systems.
The production portfolio is applicable for validation testing in preliminary and concept development up to series production. It is Industry 4.0 compliant and therefore fully automated, product flexible, data-consistent, and of course scalable as required.
The company was founded in 1989 and currently employs more than 170 people at nine locations worldwide. From its headquarters in Toenisvorst, North Rhine-Westphalia, NOFFZ supplies manufacturers in the automotive, telecommunications, IoT, medical technology, consumer and semiconductor industries. NOFFZ Technologies was recently recognized by Frost & Sullivan as Company of the Year 2021 in the field of radar test systems for the European automotive market. In the 2018-2020 financial years, the company generated average net sales of around
30 million dollars and is certified according to DIN EN ISO 9001.
