NOFFZ Technologies receives the „2021 Europe Company of the Year Award”

Excellence in Best Practices automotive

The renowned consulting firm Frost & Sullivan has named NOFFZ Technologies Company of the Year 2021 in the field of radar testing for the European automotive market. The North Rhine-Westphalian company was recognized in particular for its innovation-driven solutions and customer-oriented approach. The evaluation of the nominated companies is based on a detailed analysis of best practice criteria and strict quality characteristics. Frost & Sullivan concluded that NOFFZ’s „highly innovative radar tester, hands-on experience, and excellent expertise in radio frequency, mechanics, and automation surpasses its peers and places it in an outstanding position among its partners in the automotive industry.“ Read the full review here. Markus Solbach, Managing Director of NOFFZ Technologies GmbH, only accepted the award from Frost & Sullivan by post for the time being due to Covid-19, but his delight was nevertheless great: „We look after our customers very closely, exchange information about the latest technology and contribute our entire engineering know-how in order to always develop an optimal solution. With our global locations, we also offer suitable support directly on site worldwide. We are very pleased to receive this award, which further strengthens our conviction that our modern test concepts paired with UTP standardization and intensive customer support are exactly the right way to go.“

Effective radar test system for the automotive industry
The decisive factor for the award from Frost & Sullivan is the powerful UTP 5065 RTS radar test system. It is used successfully worldwide and especially in the automotive industry for testing, measuring and calibrating radar sensors, antennas, printed circuit boards and semiconductor components.

The system was evaluated in particular in terms of flexibility, efficiency and accuracy. According to Frost & Sullivan, the UTP 5065 RTS radar test platform exceeds the requirements for validation and production testing and believes that these cannot be achieved to the same extent by the competition.

The UTP 5065 RTS Radar Test System has a vertical design, resulting in a footprint of only 1.2 square meters. With a 70 percent space savings compared to horizontal solutions, the platform is particularly suitable for a line layout in manufacturing. Due to the flexible operation of the platform from the front and also from the rear, it can be handled manually or also used with various industrial automation concepts. The measuring chamber of the radar test system is extremely low-reflection, suppresses interfering signals as well as radiation and thus ensures extraordinary accuracy.

The very dynamic automotive market requires great adaptability from test system manufacturers. NOFFZ Technologies is constantly exploring and developing new technologies and tester frameworks and reacts flexibly to the fast-moving industry with its portfolio. Currently, the specialists are dedicated to the pioneering Compact Antenna Test Range (CATR), for testing larger sensors with larger far-field distances in a small footprint setup.
